An EPC contract (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) was signed between <\/span>Aksa Enerji \u00dcretim A.\u015e.<\/b> and <\/span>MUREL Yat\u0131r\u0131m \u0130n\u015faat A.\u015e.<\/b> for the implementation of the <\/span>Aksa Plant B – Uzbekistan 230 MW Natural Gas Combined Cycle Power Plant Project (CCPP)<\/b>. The contract covered disassembly, engineering, procurement, construction, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation assembly, testing, and commissioning.<\/span><\/p>

Phase 1:<\/b><\/p>

The first phase involved the disassembly of two power plants, each with a capacity of 115 MW, located in <\/span>Manisa<\/b> and <\/span>Van, T\u00fcrkiye<\/b>. The scope included:<\/span><\/p>

  • 24 W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4 34SG gas engines and steam boilers<\/span><\/li>
  • 2 Siemens steam turbines and generators required for the combined cycle<\/span><\/li>
  • 2 transformers<\/span><\/li>
  • Auxiliary equipment<\/span><\/li>
  • Steel structures, piping, 1,140 electrical panels, 38,500 meters of cables, and 1,280 instruments<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    All components were disassembled, cleaned, painted, and packaged in compliance with international standards and customs inspections within <\/span>80 days<\/b>. Following packaging, logistics, and transportation, the equipment was shipped to <\/span>Tashkent, Uzbekistan<\/b>, via sea and road.<\/span><\/p>

    Phase 2:<\/b><\/p>

    In the second phase, the transported equipment was positioned, and engineering works were completed to consolidate the two power plants into a single, unified energy plant.<\/span><\/p>

    Key tasks included:<\/span><\/p>

    • 38,000 m\u00b3 of excavation<\/span><\/li>
    • 21,000 m\u00b3 of concrete works<\/span><\/li>
    • 1,300 tons of construction rebar<\/span><\/li>
    • Construction of a 7,850 m\u00b2 enclosed area<\/span><\/li>
    • 1,200 tons of steel structures<\/span><\/li>
    • Assembly and welding of 24 steam boilers<\/span><\/li>
    • Assembly and welding of 750 m\u00b3 of tanks<\/span><\/li>
    • Installation of a cooling tower with a capacity of 6,300 m\u00b3<\/span><\/li>
    • Assembly of 65 Balance of Plant (BOP) equipment units<\/span><\/li>
    • 42,000 WDI pipe assembly and welding<\/span><\/li>
    • 2,100 m\u00b2 of facade cladding<\/span><\/li>
    • Installation and termination of 630 electrical panels<\/span><\/li>
    • Installation of 1,200 instruments<\/span><\/li>
    • 25,000 m\u00b2 of tank, pipe, and equipment insulation<\/span><\/li>
    • Installation of 29,000 meters of cables<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

      The plant was designed in accordance with local standards and successfully commissioned. To support on-going energy investments in Uzbekistan, <\/span>MUREL Yat\u0131r\u0131m \u0130n\u015faat A.\u015e.<\/b> has established a permanent office in the country and continues its operations there.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
